Northbay Intergroup of Sex Addicts Anonymous (NISAA)
Our PurpoSE
The Northbay Intergroup of Sex Addicts Anonymous manages the business of SAA in the Northbay Area. Our Intergroup serves four primary purposes:
To help SAA groups in our area carry the SAA message to the sex addict who still suffers.
To provide shared and coordinated services and resources to individual members and member groups. Resources such as this website, the outreach phone line, printed meeting lists, and meeting announcement emails.
To manage the effective use of NISAA funds.
To coordinate outreach and public information for SAA in the Northbay Area.
There are currently 10 member groups served by NISAA. Each member group may elect its own Intergroup representative. Members provide input to Intergroup during the monthly Intergroup meeting on the topics listed above and deliver relevant information back to the groups they represent.
Monthly Intergroup Meeting
NISAA Meets on the 4th Monday of the month from 6:30pm to 7:15pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 547 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa 94541, Room #3 (Nursery).
Any SAA member interested in the business of SAA may attend this meeting. As matters are put to the group for a vote, visitors may participate in discussions, but only Intergroup Representatives and Trusted Servants will be allowed to make votes on a given issue.
Sobriety requirements are set by member groups; NISAA recommends one year of membership in SAA and six months of abstinence from inner circle behaviors.
